The Magnificent One-horn Beast

 

   He looks like a Unicorn. When the Indus Cities were discovered in the early 20th century they found him on seals with writing never seen before, and the quest for the story of the civilisation began. He lets everybody know how important he must have been before the long forgetting.

The seal was pressed on the clay sealing, like this one found in far off Mesopotamia. Goods went by river and land around all round the Indus civilisation, or by sea as far modern Iraq. Who sent them?

Who carried Indus Seals? Those whose deeds and enterprise made our cities great and prosperous. Traders, rulers, important people in charge of city affairs? Inspired by awesome beasts such as myself, they had the mighty carved in stone, as befits us.
