These people were advanced, progressive and they were in the company of men. Such gestures did not mean anything more than what is said. She was a delightful person. My grandmother used to call Mrs. Naidu her daughter, she adopted her. Mrs. Naidu used to spend months in Bhopal, so we got to know her very well.
