[The text of the letter is in the nearly extinct "Modi" language, a combination of Gujarati and Rajasthani or Marathi. The translation was arranged by Mrs. Rukmani Ramani in Bombay.]

[To:] Shri Kamal Narif Hamir, Jaipura.

[Text:] Written from Indore accept Jaigopal [Namaste of Laxminarayan]. Received your letter by making all efforts. Full amount have recieved from Ganadharjee Nagori. I have told much more to all of them. Please write any work for me. We are all very happy here. On your letter I will send the material, but without letter I will not send anything. Please convey Jaigopal to brother Malji. Send leter on the above address. The shop of Chunilal Omkarmal is in Bada Sarata [Bigger] Jewelry market. If any money remains balance to me recovered from me by mistake. Please write to me. Write letter for all the reports.
